Installed Gsearch on my hosting service on a site using a default template (beez20) and configured GSearch module to display the Gsearch search box. The search box appears in the specified position.
When I type a term into the search box and click the search button or press the enter key on the keyboard, I get the following error:

The URL that the site is trying to access is: /index.php?Itemid=225 which isn't a valid itemid on the site as far as I can tell since no article has that id. All article IDs are under 102.

Also, if you are using a module for Gsearch, it has to be linked to a menu entry for Gsearch. Make sure that the menu entry it is linked to is still active. You may need to recreate the link.
